I knew a friend's pony years ago who went this way. She slowly got really big, then bagged up a bit, then started dripping milk. She'd been out on loan to a yard with a stallion about 6 months before, so the dates weren't right, but there was a hint of a chance that there could have been a foal. She seemed very happy, eating, etc, as normal, not distressed, didn't mind udder being touched, wasn't sore.

Think milk lasted about a week, then dried up, and within a few months returned to normal shape.   Assumed phantom pregnancy.
