I do handle the kittens, although some are like little wildcats, and hiss and spit. But, as they are rehomed, they do need to be handled. As they are white, I have no trouble finding homes, although only to people I like. Quite simply, if the people are not to my liking, and I think they will not look after the kitten, they do not get it. I make them pay too, becasue one lady took one, and then put it up for sale ......I was not mad about her making a profit, more that the kitten was going somewhere I did not know. So, if they are asked to make a donation, which I say is for de fleaing and worming, they make look after it.
I do see some of the kittens (now big cats) and am happy they are in lovely homes, so thats nice. Its strange, but the cats up at my other farm, I can handle and pick up, without too much fuss. Although, they do not like being held too long, just long enough for flea or worm treatment. Obviously, they are all speyed. Why the ones here are more feral I do not know.
