high winds

The high winds started last night and has carried on through to this morning. I had roofers out yesterday to fix the tiles on the roof which have been blow off by big storms; probably all in vain now :'( I was wondering is this another storm or just a bout of high winds for mid Wales?

We have it too  :(  although I think its starting to cler up a bit now

We have had high  winds  and rain for a week solid, but there are people worse off on the east coast and elsewhere with floods. Its heartbreaking what the poor farmers are having to endure loosing their stock  :'(

We have really high winds and very heavy rain again
Our holding has Anglo Nubian and British Toggenburg goats, Gotland sheep, Franconian Geese, Blue Swedish ducks, a whole load of mongrel hens and two semi-feral children.

We just had two quite pleasant days. Yesterday the sun :sunshine: , yes THE SUN , actually made a short appearance. Last night we had quite a lot of rain and some strong gusts of wind. It is just starting to clear out a bit. Haven't heard about a storm but it is supposed to be colder after the weekend.

We had sunshine here in South Devon yesterday (in between heavy showers) and just for a split second I smelled Spring!!

What is this mystical being you talk of "THE SUN" ???  Where do we buy one?


I believe that supplies have run so low so it might be some time before more become available!  ::)

My neighbour thought there were some brighter spells earlier, until I pointed out it was the landing lights on the helicopter lighting the clouds... that was before they shut the airport due to the hole in the runway!

We had sun yesterday and it's been dry for most of today.
