Walking Group.

A couple of wks ago a friend of mine started up a walking group. Not for ramblers just an hour every Wednesday we meet up and go for a nice walk at a pace to keep everyone happy. Most are over 60. At first I thought what a waste of time but I have to say its not only got me out the house but in company of others. when you work by yourself at home doing what a lot of us do you get away from chatting to other people. I now look forward to it, we have a cup of tea down by the harbour afterwards. Its very relaxing and I get to hear the village news.

There's groups like that in most of the villages down here - I will join them once I get my weight down a bit and stamina up, otherwise they really would be going at a snail's pace  :-[
Always have been, always will be, a WYSIWYG - black is black, white is white - no grey in my life! But I'm mellowing in my old age
