I have an old 4x4 sitting in the fields that has my mum in laws plates on it.  Its knackered and will never get another MOT - so we cant transfer the plate.

If I get a change of use to agri - a vehicle thats needs no MOT or tax - would I be then able to transfer the plate to another vehicle or place it on retention?

I believe you can't transfer plates from an agri vehicle.
