Recipe wanted for pork and caramelised onion sausage

As the title says. Anyone got a good recipe?

I would finely chop and caramelise some onions(cook very slowly with a bit of sugar) leave to cool and mix thoroughly with your sausage meat and, maybe a bit of thyme and marjoram and a sprinkle of white pepper and put into your skins.  Typing this is making my mouth water!!

You probably want to chop the onion in a food processor - much finer and less tears... I would also fry them in lard, as they are going into pork sausages anyway???
