***URGENT HELP NEEDED***A gentleman in the Crieff area has died and had 10 ex-working Collie's that urgently need homes. We are not able to take all of them and the SSPCA won't take any. The owner's family are contacting all the rescues in the area to try and find places for these dogs but are struggling and will have to put them to sleep as there is no-one to take care of them. Do any of our lovely followers know anyone that would be able to take one of these poor dogs? These dogs have never lived in a house and would likely struggle to adapt to things like central heating and televisions, popping toasters and beeping microwaves so would need a quiet, calm home with a well secured garden, perhaps with an outside run to start with until they built up the confidence to stay indoors. These dogs have belonged to an elderly man and have never met children so the family insist that these dogs cannot go to families with children under 12 or cats.
If you can help please call Jo at the kennels on 01764 684 491 or email
[email protected] and family contact details can be provided.
Thank you.
