Sadly I am having to sell my two white Shetland ewes, and their two white Hebridean cross ewe lambs.

The ewes are 3 crop, big sturdy girls, good mothers, very tame, with superb spinning fleeces. They usually twin, are milky and all the other attributes of Shetlands.

They can be used for purebreeding, or crossing with a commercial tup.

There is also one wether which can be available if a tup's companion is needed.

I am looking for £60 each for the ewes, and £40 each for the lambs, and they are available now.

Please pm me if you are interested.

You will appreciate I am trying to enable you because I am horribly tempted myself, and I have as many girls as I need, so would need to make some tough decisions if I bought more!

If you were interested in just the Shetland ewes I may be unable to resist the crossbred ewe lambs... ;)

Oops I was only thinking that, I didn't say it out loud did I?  :-J

Seriously, I can barely resist - but I have plenty of girls myself, and more really super ewe lambs to choose from for next year too.

Thank you for passing on the info to your friend Sally .  I would rather sell these girls privately than through a mart, as I think it's so stressful for them (and me!)

I don't know what the fleeces on the X lambs are like yet, because they're too young to tell, but the ewes really are lovely - that's all I've been spinning for the past couple of years  :hugsheep:  I'm sure the lambs would be great for further cross breeding and experimenting with creating novel fleece sheep......
