Where is it?
Our holding has Anglo Nubian and British Toggenburg goats, Gotland sheep, Franconian Geese, Blue Swedish ducks, a whole load of mongrel hens and two semi-feral children.

Bad time of year to be buying colonies. You have responsibility for them all through the winter months and they may not survive

Yes close to Milford, South Wales. But he can deliver, he has a big van and trailer.

This is a long term thing, he has hundreds of colonies and doesn't want to reduce, but age and health mean his wife insists he reduces somewhat.

Maybe next year will be a better time, but interested parties please email him soon for more details, once 40 are spoken for there will be no more more for sale for a few years.

You could ask the honey farm in new quay if they would like them. Try preloved, farmingads, pets4homes, gumtree, freedads uk, farmers weekly, farmers guardian. I wish I could buy them, but I haven't got enough space or experience.

Now is a good time to start getting ready for next year, if anybody wants a few bee hives then get in touch.

While not wishing the bees any harm, given the price of hives, if they are in good condition and the price is right, it might be worth buying for the hardware.

Not a good idea to bring bees from the south of the UK to Scotland... and especially not at this time of year.
