Due to work commitments we are moving to Singapore and as a consequence are dispersing our small holding. We have various items available but the biggest challenge is to rehome our beloved young border collie.
He has beautiful markings, impeccable breeding, is obedient, well behaved, full of life and keen around sheep. He is just over a year old and is not yet trained to work but eager to get going.
Two months ago he suffered from heatstroke on a really hot day. He fully recovered and subsequent blood tests have shown that there has been no damage to any of his organs. I am mentioning this to be completely honest with a potential buyer and to also say that the vet has suggested that he may simply be more prone to heat than other dogs.
There has been a suggestion made by another member on here that clipping him could have prevented overheating.
So I am offering him to a new home where he will be able to work for someone with experience of dogs, follow his natural instinct, but be with someone who is prepared to give him a break when it's really hot. Perhaps someone with another working collie or someone with a smaller flock.
£249
We are in Kent where he can be seen. He is ISDS registered and microchipped and his pedigree certificate is available. He has national, international and world championship blood.
