Taken the plunge
« on: August 15, 2015, 02:12:19 pm »
Well we've finally done it. Money is with the solicitor and we pick up the keys to our smallholding on Monday. Do the actual move on the 27th.  :excited:

We'll be down near Peterborough, 2.5 acres of good, fairly dry land. Big polytunnel and some fruit trees.

I'm pretty sure we're crazy doing this with a 7 week old but hey, you never know until you try!

I just had to share with you guys.

Dans - nervous and excited all in one
9 sheep, 24 chickens, 3 cats, a toddler and a baby on the way

Well done - I'm sure you'll all love it down there - long sunny days, warm and not too much rain.

Looking forward to hearing how you're getting on.

Brilliant news .  They always say you regret the things you don't do, so well done you!

Really good to hear Dans. Yes, it will be hard work but I am sure it will be worth it and your little one is so lucky.

Great news. Good luck - and as a novice ( still nervous and excited) landowner I am reading all posts avidly so will love to hear how you get on!
