The forum has been upgraded this afternoon - there is a small chance the upgrade will have broken something, so if you see any odd or unexpected behaviour please post here or PM me.

Part of the upgrade was the introduction of member mentions - this lets you tag other members when you post. When you tag a member, a couple of things happen:

  • The member gets an email saying they've been mentioned in a post
  • The member's name is turned into a link to their profile

This makes it easy to refer to other members and for others to get to their profile to send PMs, etc.

You can tag a member by typing the @ symbol and starting to type their member name - a list of matching members will appear, just click on the member you want to tag.

You can see a list of mentions and turn off email notification of mentions here:

This feature was requested by @SallyintNorth - please post any feedback here. If you have any feature requests please PM me or post them in this topic: http://www.accidentalsmallholder.net/forum/index.php?topic=1423.0

Thank you @Dan    ;D
Don't listen to the money men - they know the price of everything and the value of nothing

Live in a cohousing community with small farm for our own use.  Dairy cow, beef cattle, pigs, sheep for meat and fleece, ducks and hens for eggs, veg and fruit growing
