Found this website while becoming totally confused about the merits or otherwise of Chinese tractors (vs say an old MF)

Recent move ..... 7 acres - neglected/rough/sloping/boggy at the bottom/bit of woodland ..... plenty to do ....... great!

Mechanical assistance definitely required - I'll let you know how I get on.

Hi there, welcome to the forum - gosh, not often I am first to say that!  Wish you well with renovating your land.  Don't know nuthin about tractors, but MF's are a bit of a cult aren't they?  Are you going to have lots of animals on there?

Welcome from North Lanarkshire - and I would definitely advise that an old MF tractor (in good condition) would be a much better buy than a Chinese tractor.  You might also consider David Browns or small Fords - they might be better value for money, not being cult collectors tractors.

Hello and welcome, I wouldn't touch a chinese tractor personally. Second hand would be made from quality materials. When looking at second hand make sure there is no blowing from the dipstick hole and the tyres are good (expensive)

massey fergusons rule the world! wouldnt be without ours, starts on the button, not to heavy on the ground you can still get all the parts you need from somewhere like agriline website, implements are very reasonable at farm sales much cheaper than compact tractor stuff.....enjoy

Pigs buy pigs, let them clear the area.  Its slower, much cheaper and you cant eat a tractor  :)
