Goose off her legs -- very suddenly
« on: July 31, 2015, 09:12:38 am »
All was ok last night at shut-in time. This morning the female is unable to walk. A quick lifting up (with gander hissing in my ear defending his girl) doesn't show any wounds/blood, but I cannot do a more thorough check with her being very hissy herself too. I don't think there is any mating going on, so damage from heavy boy is unlikely....

She seems otherwise ok, no breathing difficulties, droppings ok too (checked inside the shed)....

What to do? No vet experience locally I am afraid.
