Shetland Cow with Luing Heifer Calf at Foot
« on: July 23, 2015, 09:17:50 am »
After starting off with 2 Shetland Cows we now have 8 so we are downsizing.

Thanks to a visit by the Farmer next doors bul ;-) we are selling one of our Shetland Cows along with its Luing Heifer Calf at foot. We can also run the cow with our Shetland Bull - an awesome specimen called Knockinnon Arran if desired.

Our Cow is Iselburgh Kaye born 31 March 2009.

I'll get some pictures up later today.

PM if interested or if you have any questions.

I presume you want this cow to go to someone who will breed her pure?
Don't listen to the money men - they know the price of everything and the value of nothing

Live in a cohousing community with small farm for our own use.  Dairy cows (rearing their own calves for beef), pigs, sheep for meat and fleece, ducks and hens for eggs, veg and fruit growing

Hi Sally! Of-course that would always be the preference. My current Bull has good breeding and he was totally wasted last year when my two cows were caught by next door.

I would love to sell Kaye in calf to Arran :-)
