Biting bluebottles

Is it just me or have blue bottles become carnivorous towards humans? Last year I had blue bottles biting me, yes I know house flies  right, has anyone else noticed this?
the most beautiful people we have known are those who have known defeat, known suffering, known struggle, known loss and have found their way out of the depths. These persons have an appreciation, a sensitivity and an understanding of life that fills them with compassion, gentleness, loving concern.

Ooh a fly question,blue bottles wont bite humans ! Unless your dead ! Blue bottles feed on rotting matter ! It was most probably one of Britains many types of horsefly some of which resemble bluebottles

Not by bluebottles but certainly by house flies. Good to know that I'm not rotting.
