Shearing!
« on: June 28, 2015, 04:36:16 pm »
Ah well finally all my sheep are sheared, they look gorgeous all sheared. One of the ewe lambs which gave a single this year looks fantastic and has a big bag. All I need to do now is round them up and dose em before putting them on some fresh pasture. They all look gorgeous with good weight and plenty of milk, been a good year so far I reckon. :)

I love it when mine are sheared and they look all clean, smart and jet black (zwartbles). Also in great condition even the ewes whose lambs were only weaned a few weeks ago.

One of my favourite times in the sheepy year  :excited:

I just posted an almost identical comment on another post - it's a lovely time, sinking your hands into glorious soft fleece  and the sheep clean and smart  :sheep: :sheep: :sheep: :spin:
