Coccidiosis and hens?
« on: May 29, 2015, 09:42:19 pm »
I have a lamb with suspected coccidiosis. They are in the same field as the free range hens. Could the lamb have got this from the hens?
Sorry if this is a stupid question.

I don't think so .
My understanding is that the protozoa that causes coccidiosis is different from species to species, even within birds.
