She must have a superior - find out who, use that knowledge.  Just mention his/her name next time you call her to get a consent date from her.  It's called subterfuge.  But if necessary use it and report her fro prevarication.  They are not allwed to keep you hanging on these days.

You wouldn't believe it but she is getting the 'head' job next month so they are one and the same person.

Anyway phoned them today and they reckon there is a letter in the post - too late for this year, but maybe next year. Fingers crossed.
