Turkey breeders in central Scotland?
« on: February 07, 2010, 10:07:42 pm »
We would like to raise a dozen turkeys for next christmas. Does anyone know of a turkey breeder where I can get fertile turkey eggs in central to north east Scotland in March. I would really like to go and get some rather than getting them posted. :chook: :)

Kirsty, the lady along the road from me whose number I gave you re hens has a few Turkeys (or she did), perhaps she could point you in the right direction and she's fairly close to you.

Hi Marigold,

There is a guy in Brechin who we bought Bronze turkeys from last year. I will dig out his number for you.

Kirsty don't know if you are still looking but there is a farm in St Andrews selling Turkeys?

Kirsty, I will find out for you in the morning. :) It's one of the young lads that feeds my animals when I am on holiday that works there and he was saying at the weekend they had Turkeys for sale, so I will get the details for you in the morning.
