Ketos-Aid or Ceto-Phyton drench. Possibly Calcium too (Calciject injections). Preferably Combivit injections too (5ml into the muscle) - to stimulate appetite.

Give her any treats she will have - fruit, veg, bananas are good, oatcakes, toast with honey, her own milk, try oats, shreds, sheep mix or her usual goat mix. Branches (willow, raspberries, brambles, whatever else is out where you are), weeds from the garden - docks, dandelion, nettles, thistles... try some ivy branches (not the flowers or berries, just snip them off)...

A rumen stimulant (as a drench) would also be beneficial if she has stopped chewing her cud.

OK.  She's  had armfuls of raspberry and willow. Plenty of ivy and some brambles.  Yogurt on her nose ( :roflanim:).not pleased!! More molasses and I've  just left her nibbling on some barley, alfalfa,  and seaweed! :fc:
I hope we've  cracked it......was looking out the door too earlier..... :fc:

When mine are a bit down I give them 'Readygrass' or 'Justgrass', (bags of quick dried grass from the feed merchant).
But looking at the Fias farm website they need higher calories?

Yay!! She's eating nd chewing her cud!!! Delighted!! Never kidding again though....doesn't  really need to as she comes into milk herself in the spring!
