Feeding creep feed from one month
« on: May 11, 2015, 07:58:57 pm »
So I started feeding creep feed when the lambs were one month old . The lambs are now between 6 and 10+ weeks old and 50 go through 2 round lick bucket fills of creep per day. I was wondering could too much creep feed stunt growth (short and stumpy?) pot bellied etc

NO, should accelerate growth , unless you are wanting them sold quickly  eg 12wks old then very expensive

Yes done for coccidiosis, and wormed just at the weekend for nemo. Also got ovivac and another day they got the left over twinflock vitamins from tupping time. Maybe they had nemo for a while and it held them back a little . Overall there not too bad I just want to ensure I'm efficient as its my first year with ewes (well I  always had a few ) but upped it this year a little
