If your pigs are anything like mine were you wouldn't dare, 10 minutes late and they were through the electric fence and into the yard looking for their food. Any other time they never bothered the fence. The 2 boars would nip at the wellies too if I was late.

ours dont mind a change to much... with all the ups and down with my (now late) father in law, we deliberately dont have strict timed routines so all the animals accept variety.
its the spice of life after all !

Once its dark, the pigs go off inside and get up to the sound of a feed bin being opened, if we havent managed to feed them before then.   Mind you, any time of day you go near the feed bin, they call out to be fed!

Lol! I am finding this with my new girls. I have to feed about 6.30 am as have to go to work 7.30 and despite being fast asleep the sound of that feed bin rattling and they high tail it out of the Arc! I hope they let me have a little lie in at the weekend tho.

The ideal would be 12 hours between meals, which is fine in the summer.  These cold winter days they are happy whenever.
