daffs coming through
« on: February 04, 2010, 08:06:57 pm »
as me were out trying to get our pig back in that escaped(finally went in)
we noticed where our goats are, there is daff bulbs coming through.
makes a wonderfull sight to see them coming through all the brambles and what have you,
but would these be poisonous to the goats if they eat them.

Yes, daffodils can be poisonous to livestock, and even  dogs and cats if they eat them.  I would dig them up, and replant somewhere away from your goats.  Knowing goats, they will try and eat them otherwise.
