Our last course in Jan was over subscribed so we have persuaded another farm to let us into their lives with the wonderful Ruth our lambing teacher leading another course!

So it will be on the 20th March from 10 - 4 (but you may stay a little longer if you wish!) with a hot lunch provided which you may partake of or bring your own. We now have an artificial ewe so practise in difficult lambings possible. Everything you need to know will be covered and lots of hands on.....you will use the artificial ewe and castrate and tail lambs if you wish. The cost is £50 per person and there are 10 places left! Please contact me asap if you want to come!

The last course participants were treated to lots of action during their course with 3 ewes lambing including 2 difficult lambings....all successfully sorted!

Anyone who was on the course reading this will be interested to know there are 4 left to lamb and nearly 150 lambs have been born!!!!! (a 200% result)

This course is well worth doing. I went on last one and learnt a lot, just wish I had the time to stay and use the artificial ewe.  My first lamb is due in about 2 weeks (a bit early considering rest won't be til March/April but my pet sheep just couldn't wait!)

Have just got back from this course and would recommend it to anyone thinking of lambing for the first time.  Loads of information and practical stuff as well.  I shall be looking forward to our lambs with a lot more confidence.  Thanks to all involved and good luck to all those I met on the course.
