I help to manage an estate in North Herts. The owners have a 3 bedroom cottage and also has a 15 acre field attached. They are keen to encourage new entrants and see this as an ideal site for a budding smallholder / market gardener to start.

There may also be more, similar sized, plots (but without accommodation) available if there's interest (owners are open to someone pitching a yurt or similar if they want to live on site!)

I'm a longtime member of The Farming Forum and asked the question on there as to where we should post this info - several people suggested TAS, hence this as my first post!

This sounds like a great opportunity for someone!
Try posting in the market place - I hope you get lots of interest!
