After a rather heated debate with a neighbour yesterday he says he's sick of the smell off my pigs an the mud (city folk in the country) i laughted an carried on as usual....but being the good person I am i will try to reduce the smell if at all possible they live outdoors with a 16x16 ark which is bedding with straw....I'm not about to start washing them with shampoo everyday I will do simple things

My pigs are free ranging and all I can think they smell of is stale ginger cake! Do you compost their dung/bedding? If so maybe a sprinkle of garden lime will sweeten things up?
I'll bet your townee neighbours have security lights outside their house. Do they know how disturbing they are for busy smallholders trying to sleep at night?
Best though to try to be friends ( tempting though it is to be otherwise)
Take them to meet the pigs, hint at a few free chops or sausages, who knows they may be rearing their own pigs :fc:

Whenever a property comes up for sale locally I put a sign on our gate saying "Rare Breed Sheep, Pigs & Poultry", so no-one can possibly say they didn't know about them.  Townies just don't seem to get that they're moving to an industrial area, and the industry is agriculture.

Buy some billy goats,  your neighbour will never complain about the pigs again.

Tie one round the neighbours neck and save a fortune on magic trees!
Little bugs have lesser bugs upon their backs to bite 'em. And lesser bugs have lesser bugs and so ad infinitum!
