Just in case anyone is going to be travelling the M6/J41 (Penrith / Keswick) between now and April 19th, to let you know that there is the most beautiful exhibition at the Rheged centre.

Ian Lawson has spent five years following Lakeland shepherds and their Herdwick sheep, and from this has drawn his photographic exhibition depicting a year in Lakeland, featuring the Herdwicks, their shepherds and their landscape.

Alonsgide and complementing the pictures are some awesome craftworks from the talented ladies of the Wool Clip at Caldbeck.  You can see some pics of the crafts alongside the photographs that inspired them in The Wool Clip's Facebook photos here (scroll to see more examples) - but if you do have a chance to see the exhibition in the flesh, you won't regret the diversion.

The exhibition is free entry, open 7 days a week 10:30-4:30.

The Rheged centre has 3 cafés and a lovely deli/shop too. ;)
Don't listen to the money men - they know the price of everything and the value of nothing
