I had an Rcom Suro for a few years and hatched succesfully with no problems. I did learn fairly quickly that it has no insulation so needs to be in either a warm room or operated inside a polystyrene box as I did. I also threw away the humidity system running it dry until pipping then using a moist cloth put inside to bump the RH up for hatching.

Well I have swapped the sponge and tried doubling it up and washing it with washing up liquid to increase its absorbency but I am going to have to take it apart again to work out what the problem is. It is set up in the living room now which is the warmest room in the house and I keep syringing a couple of drops of water through the little air hole every so often. It will get the chicks through to hatching on 7th March I think.
