Woolly Greetings from Wales!

Hello from Wales we are a couple who truly love the good life!

We own a working rare breed Smallholding on the foothills of the Cambrian Mountains. We keep around 18 breeds of poulltry, a small flock of Whitefaced woodland sheep, small herd of Bagot Goats and a Guanaco! We have no machinery and do everything by hand without any volunteers or staff. We  mix all our own feed ration for all our livestock and do not use GM straights or soya. Our main passion and focus is The Mynydd Mawr Herd of Mangalitza
We have breeding these pigs for five years now and own the largest meat producing herd in the UK and supply some very fine establishments with our carcasses throughout the UK, including a Michelin starred premises. All pigs are slaughtered locally in Tregaron and bred, reared, butchered and traditionally cured by us in our on site butchery, 100% traceability and provenance assured! We offer Mail Order, Also Private butchery, processing and curing undertaken and sell both registered an unregistered stock available from weaners to adults both Red and Blonde lines kept with full pedigree status to the herd and BPA member. We have supplied stock to many estates and farm parks including The Lichfield Estate, The Shakespeare Trust and the National Trust.

This is a complete passion and we are a true working smallholding in the Cambrian Mountains. We have never tasted such beautiful meat and have enjoyed our own bacon and cured meats from these wonderful animals. Pigs from Brynheulog Rare breeds are pigs with Character bred by people with Character! For further information please call Stuart or Angela Ceredigion Mid Wales, we have stock of all ages for sale and have litters throughout the year. www.brynheulog.com

Hello Devonlady, a Guanaco is a type of camilid, fantastic fibre and great livestock guards, their fibre quality and rarity is second only to a Vicuna.

Hello madgoatwomen!

Yes Thyme you may have have seen them on there, the guanacos are great guards, lovely to keep and never spit.

Hello FIB, plenty of info on the website, hope you enjoy reading about how we do things here.
