Thank you, you are so sensible and i think quite right. I have reservations about the ram and will have a debate with the chap we are buying them from. I would prefer to hire a ram as necessary or swap a pork joint as you rightly say, particularly as he is reasonably close.

Still trying to track down the OSB. If you know of anyone with two registered gilts/young sows, I think i have a boar. This will just take longer than planned but we are in no hurry. Drop me a line with any leads!
