Wanted: A rabbit hutch with an integral run.
« on: January 15, 2010, 01:22:58 pm »
I live in Derbyshire and as the above subject box would like a more palatial home for my Guineapigs.  They have a separate hutch and run, but would like a hutch where they Guineas can come and go as they please.

Can't spare one but.. my dad joined the two together with a long pipe, when I had just 2 guineas as a kid.  Is it possible to do this with yours?
(If not and you find one, I'll happily take the old hutch and run off your hands!!)

That is definitely an option.  Our run is very big and I would like to shorten it, but if nothing comes of this swap shop lark then I will do as your resourceful father did.

Incidently, my friend's Guinea has just given birth to 4 so if you know of anyone who wants some let me know.  They will be very well handled as she has 4 children!

Thanks for the tip.

I'd love two girls, if there are any?
To keep a lonely bunny company - can't remember if you saw them, we lost his tiny guinea companion, and he gets bullied by the others so is on his own. I didnt want to get any while its been so cold...

Oliver is off school today so I am spending the day adapting the hutch and run in between seeing to Oliver.  Manflu develops at a suprisingly young age!! ;D

hmmm, actually I am, if they're old enough... my neighbour (who knows everything about everything!) asked me to sex his baby rabbits, so I'd better watch it or I'l be getting a reputation!

love to Oliver, man-flu is very nasty or so I'm told...
