Tomato plant in saline environment
« on: May 07, 2008, 11:20:02 am »
Hi All,
I am having some difficulty growing some tomato plants, the problem is that they seem to be dying but not sure why.
They do face harsh conditions, sometime strong winds and a saline environment, could this be a factor in their demise? if so is there a solution, without having to move house?
cheers,
Nick

lots of plastic pots, with organic fetiliser and compost - guess that this is closer to grow bags than greenhouse

One of those mini-greenhouses? I successfully grew tomatoes, peppers, chillies and strawberries in an inner-city environment. You can pic a decent sized one up for £30 if you shop around
