Hi from Mid Wales

Hi All,
I have just started a small balcony garden for herbs, fruit and veg.  Just trying to become more self-sufficent.

Welcome Nick - Start small think big - it is amazing what you can grow in the smallest of areas.

I've been getting enthusastic over a creeping kiwi - maybe it could work for you.

Looking forward to your posting.

Thank you all for your kind welcome,
indeed it is hard to stop once you get going, I just went shopping for a load of strawberry plants yesterday, and I am now fast running out of space on my balcony...looks like I'll have to get an allotment now :)

Hi from us too.

Its not only so satisfying, but addictive going your own food - you'll be putting pots on your neighbours balconies before you know it!  ;D

Keep us posted on how you get on
