Hi All,
I have just started a small balcony garden for herbs, fruit and veg. Just trying to become more self-sufficent.

Welcome Nick - Start small think big - it is amazing what you can grow in the smallest of areas.

I've been getting enthusastic over a creeping kiwi - maybe it could work for you.

indeed it is hard to stop once you get going, I just went shopping for a load of strawberry plants yesterday, and I am now fast running out of space on my balcony...looks like I'll have to get an allotment now

don't think side ways think up and down too

think out side the box don't thinks to the book and try to be imagative, this way you help save money as well as space
