BPA Registered Large Black Boar wanted.  A proven boar preferred, must have excellent conformation and temperament.

We are in the Scottish Borders, so would prefer a boar we could view/collect within one day's travelling without staying over night, or one from someone who would have some idea about organising transport for a boar with a haulier, which we would of course pay for.

Get in touch with Martin Snell (Sock herd) he'll probably have a few to choose from and regularly sends livestock to Carlisle via haulier and adding a pig shouldn't be a problem. Pm me if you want his mobile (should be able to get it via BPA herd book) forget email, he prefers talking 
Rusty Taylor at Garlieston in Wigton was thinking about selling his stock, so also worth a phone call. Failing that, try posting on the LB facebook page (the UK one)
