I'll do you half a dozen per week if that's any good!  ;D

Thanks Ballingall - it does indeed look the bees knees eh!! I

Womnble, 6 a week might be all i need - to start with!!! the only reliable source of free range eggs i've had requires a min order of 30 dozen, and i def. won't need that many to start with. I'm just gonna get them from the local supermarket (there is a company in peebles supplying the supermarkets - that's the only free range scottish ones I can find!)

bit of a nightmare, i thought eggs would be easy!!!

just means I'll need to get my own coop sorted out sooner rather than later!

We can not keep up the demand,we are only getting around 4 a day at the moment, but durring the summer around 10 a day. My partner sells them at work and people are now arguing over who gets the eggs!!!! I suppose a lot of us who keep hens have an outlet for them...good luck with the search...stillinterested in my veg box overhere in Clackmannan!!!

Sandy, I'll be bringing you a veg box when I come to the CSSA meeting next week.

I'll send you a wee PM when the site is up and working and you and Annie can place your order (as I'll be needing a few guinea pigs to use the site you'll get it for free - but I need you to tell me what worked well/what was confusing/what didn't work and then if the box was value for money or not!!)

Expect it tonight or tomorrow :-)

I've found a reliable source of eggs - but they are from Northern ireland. A few of the local shops/farm shops round here use them - for the very reason that they will supply small quantities, are reliable and are actually very good eggs! Not sure if that means the eggs or good or the people at the company are "good eggs"

but i'm happy either way

Anyway, from speaking to my butcher and a few other folk, it seems that there is a gap in the market for someone supplying butchers with scottish free range eggs and chickens (for meat)
