Just come back from Hereford with this.
« on: December 28, 2014, 04:31:03 am »
My OH Julie said she wanted a quad bike and I have been trawling all the usual sites trying to find one with the specs she asked for. Must be auto or semi auto, have a ball hitch and be able to carry all her chicken related watsits...

Tried to find one before Christmas so she could have it as a pressie but had to create a gift certificate instead and gave her that on Christmas morning. By dinner time I found exactly what I was looking for on ebay, made an offer which was accepted and drove the 2 1/2 hours down to Hereford yesterday to collect it.
As it was dark by the time I got back, I told Julie it may be best to wait until this morning before she sees it for the first time so I left it in the back of the van.

I think she will be very happy with it... :fc:

Its a 1989 Yamaha 250 Pro Hauler in very good condition and only cost £900.

You'll wonder how you ever managed without it.

2wd? not urgent for front tyres. If you're going to load up on the back I'd suggest putting some weight on the front or it may well flip over on you, not a nice experience!!!
