What spider is this please?

Possibly a question for Alistair?
This spider is living behind the curtain pelmet in my hall.  She is so pretty I can't dispose of her.  I do remove her web every few days but it is back up again by the morning - she must have busy nights ;D

Can anyone tell me what she is please?

Think I just answered my own question ::) .
Possibly -
Cross Spider Araneus diadematus. Also known as European garden spider, Diadem spider, or Cross Orbweaver Family Araneidae (Orb Weavers)

Very pretty but also a common garden spider.  I think she may have to go and live outside now ;D
