It's a sign of being tired Kelly. Probably the discomfort is wearing her out. Our vet suggested a one-off administration of half a small aspirin for pain relief whilst antibiotics took effect. The result was nothing short of miraculous -she was fine and active the next day. Something we have used a few times now with the same result. It seems to remove the pain and give them sufficient relief to start life again with renewed vigour. So perhaps worth a try?

Really feel for you guys-it's heartbreaking when they don't make it despite our best efforts. We have to console ourselves with knowing that we have done our best for them, loved and cared for them and when it's their time to go, making that as peaceful and pain free as possible. Sending hugs
