Hi Sandy. Calum pointed me towards this thread. I'm very interested in one of your pups and would like to get in early and show my interest. Atm I've got a 3 year old black lab collie X called Hitch and would love another addition to the family.

You won't get Sandy or Steve till they have caught up with their shut eye - I left there at 3 am last night so got a few hours before going back up this morning to go for puppy food and chicken food for them.  Steve had to work today too but they have no-one in the B & B tonight so I guess they are ZZZ ing now!

That's lucky! Not often having no one in a B&B is a blessing.

Annie, you didn't sneak one of the puppies home with you, I hope?

You gotta be joking?  ::) 5 Brittany pups is enough for any woman(or man!  ;)).  If you don't believe me come and see them!  They are leaping about like mad things.  Just wait though - 7 weeks from now Sandy will be wishing she had never seen a Labrador!!!! Let alone 13 of them!

I'd love to come round and see them! As for Sandy, perhaps she could rope some guests into helping with them  ;D

13 is a huge number for a first litter. She looks like she's being a brilliant mum though. But in 6 weeks, she won't want to see her babies much!

If my calculations are right (a rare occurrence), there are 11 pups, mother and uncle to make the 13. Personally I can't imagine giving birth to even one thingy let alone 11 of them!

Ahhh I saw the 13 and got confused. 11 is still a lot as well. My collie only had 9 pups for her first litter, and that was hard work!
