Does anyone know when they might announce details of the CCAGS schemes which will be in place with the new CAP (starting in January I think)?

On my 'to do' list is build another shed.  Do I put an application in now and come under the current system (I presume that if it is approved now they will pay under the current scheme even if it is next year before the project is finished) or wait a couple of months and do it under the new scheme?

I guess it as about how much I like gambling - will the new scheme be better, the same or worse than the current scheme?

Hi

Paddy may have some info - she's on the Scottish Crofting Fed Board.

From my reading of the Scot Gov site, 2015 will run the same as previously - some sort of interim arrangement until the new schemes are up & running in 2016.

Thanks Sue.

Paddy is coming round on Saturday to pick up a calf so I may add that to the list of questions Beth has to ask her (I am at work).

Although this timeline says that all pillar 2 schemes will be open for applications in January except for forestry and LFASS which will open in March.
