I don't check them at night, I check them at half 6 before work just for peace if mind as we have had dog issues. It's just light atm but won't last for long. There is no one to check for me. I check them at around 4 pm but when winter sets in it'll be dark then too. Will have a look into the paint.

I meant the paint as a joke  :innocent: not sure how it would really work

But a really long beam powerful torch should suffice for early mornings, so you dont need to get too close to disturb them, or drive around the field with high beams on?

Day glo sheep? You've got me thinking now. Wonder what the neighbours would make of that. Might try it on the poultry first!!!

Use a Cluson torch with a red/orange filter on the lens. The type they use for fox shooting at night.
Sheep usually never move when a coloured filter is used. You still get a very long beam of light.
