Acorns and ash keys

Have noticed here in South Devon that there is a bounty of blackberries, sloes, hawthorn, rose-hips etc but absolutely no acorns or ash key, though the field maple has plenty. What is it like where you are?

Very bountiful hedgerows here, including plenty of ash keys.    We have hazelnuts for the first time since we planted them a good few years ago now.   Our oaks are too young yet to have acorns.

II've read that the different tree species have mast years, when they give good crops off seeds at different intervals. I think ash is something like every seven years.
I've noticed good crops of haws and rosa s the last three years.
