Wing and a Prayer Rescue posted an appeal on Facebook today.

URGENT we are rescuing 100 hens tomorrow that would be going to slaughter .please if you have room for a few please pm your details

The rehoming centre is based in Balerno Edinburgh and they ask for a donation of £3.50 per hen to help their charity.
