Hi guys

Thanks for the kind comments.  We had a great day with Hugh and the team, everyone of them was really nice.

I was really touched that one of the production team phoned me after last nights programme just to see if we were happy with our segment!  That's the sort of team they were.

People will have seen from other postings on here that a couple of small minded individuals have tried to make life very difficult for us what with complaints to planning and environmental health.  All of these complaints have led to nothing as we were sure to do everything by the book.

The day with River Cottage and last nights programme was a confirmation that we are on the right track.

However whenever I feel down and think of chucking it all in I only have to go across to the farm and spend sometime with the animals and my friends there to make me realise why I do it  ;D ;D

I think we should have a round of applause.
well done Mark, I thought it came over really fantastic, I almost felt a tear when he said sausage meat.
see you sunday. Do you want a load of windfall apples for your piggies before they go on holiday?

Sanman...there will always been those kill joys who want to put their ore in about everything, you will never win with them...I personally thought you came over extremely well and I thought what a wonderful idea, do all of y ou really pull their weight as in my experience there are always "sleeping" partners in things as physical as that. I did have an allotment once and that was a brilliant community so I can see it could work. The only trouble with that programme is it makes me feel hungry and I don't need that!!! Well done......get Rusty or Kev in if you get any agro again...they will soon sort them out ;) ;)

All

Thanks for your comments. We've alreday been contacted by a group in Derbyshire who want to set up a community smallholding and have approached us for advice.

Carl, yep see you Sunday and I'm sure the pigs would love some apples!  For those not in know, Carl provided the pork that was used in the stuffing for the turkey  ;D

This forum has been great, I don't post that often but I'm an avid reader and the advice on here has been invaluable.

Cheers guys
