Dartmoor mare (Scottish Borders)

Firsedge Sabrina
15 year old registered black Dartmoor mare.
Successful broodmare, who was also lightly backed proving extremely straightforward last year ago, before going on loan as a companion pony.
We’ve shown her once, where she was 2nd in the mare class at the Dartmoor Star Show at Border Union in 2012, proving a delight to handle at this very busy show.
Sabrina is back with us now, and settled straight away, but we don’t really have a job for her, and would love to find her a home where can have more attention. Open to suggestions for short term, long term or permanent homes, but will only be loaned or sold to the very best of homes – she doesn’t HAVE to go anywhere, would just like to see her getting the attention she deserves.
Although she is very quiet and sensible, she is not suitable for a tiny tot – she has been ridden by our 3 year old with no problems, but finds all the noisy and bustle that comes with tiny tots a bit worrying, and whilst she never puts a foot wrong, is just not relaxed, so I don’t feel it fair to put her in this situation. She’s completely fine with slightly older children, maybe 9 and older.

Location: Scottish Borders
