Due to the usual stewards being unavailable, we need two / three sheep stewards and a cattle steward.

The job of the stewards is to greet exhibitors - from 7am on the Saturday morning, show them their pens, check passports / paperwork, collect the judge(s), make sure that exhibitors get to the right class, hand out rosettes, prize cards and prize money, generally assist judges, exhibitors and the general public.

It's a long day but the stewards are absolutely vital to the Festival.

Experience of stewarding or showing would be helpful but commonsense is most important.
