Docks!
« on: August 06, 2014, 07:31:09 pm »
Does anyone else find that Docks thrive in their chicken runs? Mine looks like a Dock forest!

Does anyone have any cure for them except Roundup'ing the whole area?

I dig them out as they are poisonous to chickens. Probably why they haven't eaten them  :D

My chickens peck them as well, I bet they are spreading the seeds in their poo!

Docks love very high fertile areas .... dairy cow fields are always full of them.  They are tap rooted so its not really the seeds you need to worry about.  Glyphosate spotted on individual plants is probably your best bet.

Didn't know they were poisonous the chickens.

Don't wrestle with pigs, they will love it and you will just get all muddy.

Let go of who you are and become who you are meant to be.
