No photo there Cameron.  How could someone leave a chick at the side of the road?

i will try again with the photos

The story behind it is: a couple going down past the local re homing kennels found a box at the roadside, the picked it up seeming it to be a puppy and handed it into the Kennels (most sensible thing to do).
It was bucketing with rain and the box was dry so it had not been there long, the kennels' carpark CCTV shows a heavily loaded pickup coming far to fast down the hill, so we all suspect it to have fallen off it.

no one has been up the road looking so it is still lodging with the rabbits

Cameron, you need to downsize your photos to put them on here. Do you have Microsoft Office Picture Manager on your computer.  It is easy to do it with that programme.  Open the photograph, click on edit pictures, then on compress (bottom right), then choose web pages, then save with a different name, then close the programme and click don't save.
Then open a message on here, click on 'additional options', click on browse to find the photo on your computer, tehn click post. Job done.

You're a STAR pupil, Cameron!  Poor wee chook.  Glad you got her. Strange that it was only one in the box though.

Looks maybe to have pekin or silkie in there some where and looks like a young cockerel.
