Hi, we have a lot of fencing to do over the next year or so and, as we have very little soil, we have decided that a post knocker attachment for our compact tractor will be a wise investment. Just wondered if anyone had any suggestions/recommendations for good makes. Thanks in advance.

We have a Vector power drive - it attaches to the 3 point hitch on our Zetor.

It works very well driving strainers into our very stony ground. Ordinary fence posts need a bit more care - less thumping in, more pushing in.

Useful feature- a horizontal slide on the driver - means if we cant' get the tractor exactly in line, we can move the driver left & right so hopefully the fence line is straight. Another useful feature  - tilt control on the boom - we can change the angle of the boom to get an upright post.

One thing we don't have is a rock spike - could be handy if you have very rocky soil and need to get a strainer in a rocky bit.
